John Monahan

Born in Belfast Northern Ireland, Director and Writer John Monahan (he/him) has always had a passion for film from a young age. He began making short films in and around the Belfast area as a child before moving on to independent short film work after graduating university.

He set up Moonbeam Productions alongside Declan Proctor and together they have produced award winning short films ‘Pitbulls’ and ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’ and directed music videos for Search Party and Wynona Bleach.
