Josh Farrell

Josh Farrell is an emerging screenwriter and director whose distinct blend of humour and horror has begun to carve out a unique space for him in the world of genre filmmaking.

Growing up in a council house in Watford, Josh brings a unique perspective to his work, informed by his personal experiences as a disabled filmmaker. In addition to his creative pursuits, he is also a lecturer at the Raindance Film School, where he shares his passion for screenwriting and film studies with aspiring filmmakers.

In 2024, Josh made his directorial debut with the horror-comedy ‘Sock’, a bold and inventive film that blends witty dialogue, quirky characters, and an ability to seamlessly merge horror with comedic elements.

The sequel, ‘Socks’, is currently in pre-production and promises to be a sequel about sequels and the seemingly lost art of just letting things go.
