Justine Socha

Justine Socha is a 2D animator and visual development artist from Paris, currently based in Bath. She aspires to share her passion for history, art and fairy tales through her work.

Having studied her undergraduate degree in 2D and 3D animation at Rubika in Montreal (Canada), she went on to graduate with a Master’s in Animation from the University of West England, Bristol. Throughout the course of her Masters, Justine produced and animated her own short film ‘Heart Of Stone’ (2023) for which she won the “Best Short Animation” award at the 3rd Edition of the One Fluid Night Festival.

Additionally, she has worked as an animator and designer on several other projects, including the award-winning student film ‘Naked Came The Stranger’ (2023), and ‘On The Other Side’ (2021).

Justine is now working as a freelance animator for a Belgian video production studio, where she creates weekly animated content.
