Wanja Mary Sellers

Wanja Mary Sellers is an award winning actress and filmmaker, delighted to be on the OFN judging panel once again! 

As an actress, she’s been working in film, tv and theatre for several decades, from starring in a play with Colin Firth when they were both 17, to going on to work in film and tv (mostly in Italy) with directors ranging from Pupi Avati to Martin Scorsese, Martin Newlin, Sam Raimi to name a few. As a filmmaker, she has directed two feature films and numerous shorts with festival credits and awards including London BFI, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Annecy, Leeds, Torino, Roma and more.

She created an award winning web series which screens here in London at Raindance Film Festival, and wrote/directed several docs, including "A Wheel in Time” for the History Channel.
